I have removed every component and I still get notifications when server is down. Why?
I have removed all components from dashboard, but I still get email notifications. How can I terminate monitoring of complete domain and server?
how Add new MIBs?
I have a MIB files straight from Fortinet UTM that I want to monitor. How do I import it into solution?
False positives.
We are at the moment evaluating Anturis as a possible replacement for our current uptime and transaction monitoring tool.
For the last about 3 weeks we have been getting downtime alerts that we have now taken to be false positives because of the following reasons.
- The uptime monitoring tool that we are trying to replace never reports downtime when Anturis reports the supposed downtimes.
- Manually simulating the failing transactions that were reported by Anturis to not succeed was succeeding.
- No user complaint was ever received during the duration of the supposed downtime.
We so far like Anturis but are starting to get afraid if it reports false positives at this rate. I am wondering if this is something that you know of or have fixed in the past or are looking to fix.

Ivan.
Can't set up mysql monitor because of firewall
I have a server that is sitting behind a firewall that protects port
3306. I installed the agent and Anturis sees the server. However, when
I try to set up mysql server monitor, I can't get past
username/password section. Can't open database due to error 1600. I would think that the agent would provide some way of access through the firewall, but don't know for sure. Is there an IP (range) for Anturis that could be used to allow access to this port through the firewall?
Disk monitor: "something went wrong"
When trying to monitor disk usage I receive the error: [Error 0001] Something went wrong with Anturis Agent. Please send us a note about this case at support@anturis.com and we will get back to you.
I'm trying to monitor "/dev/root - / (ext3) rw,data=ordered". This is a Logical Volume (raid). When trying to monitor "/dev/root - /var/named/run-root/var/run/dbus (ext3) rw,data=ordered" I get the same result/error.
When trying to monitor "/dev/sda3 - /boot (ext3) rw,data=ordered" it works as expected.
This might be relevant:
cat /etc/fstab /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 / ext3 defaults 1 1 LABEL=/boot /boot ext3 defaults 1 2 tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0 devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0 sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0 0 proc /proc proc defaults 0 0 /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 swap swap defaults 0 0
The monitor in Anturis only gives me the 3 options mentioned earlier.
Is there something else I can try?
Website monitoring on port 80 says 301
I have set a test monitoring for www.rosica.com website server as HTTP connection using GET over port 80. By default it works using NL-Amsterdam but when I want to add US-Dallas it shows to update port (I have put 80 again) but after saving all settings it returns errors as site mover permanently 301 redirect what is not true. Any idea what I have missed something in settings? Thanks
Monitor - Bulk Edit
graph lines not showing
I tried clearing browser cookies/cache, re-adding the monitors on the dashboard but nothing worked.
Hopefully this gets fixed soon, otherwise I will have to remove Anturis and install a different monitoring service.
