A wizard could be handy to create a network usage resource for a server's interface. Even if collected through SNMP, there could be a template for common types of servers, as Linux, and the selection of interface, and automatic monitoring of Incoming and Outgoing speeds to be compared to a threshold and generate alerts.

US-Dallas monitoring location

Is something wrong with that location? I have set HTTP monitoring from that location of my web site (is located in the States as well) and it looks like most slow connections to the site above 1000 ms page load time came from US-Dallas.


Also I don't know if it is good idea to have own monitoring location in same data center where are servers to monitor.


Any thoughts ?

Cookies in web transactions?

Is it possible to maintain cookies in the web transaction scenario tool or to create variables from headers (for example, keep the value of a Set-Cookie header)?

(On the subject of variables, I'm not sure what the syntax ${varn:none} denotes - is there additional documentation on this anywhere?)

Server uptime monitoring

i am trying to use the Server uptime monitoring that doesn't need an account but when it try's to make the monitors it said "Uptime monitor creation error Please ensure, that this host is accessible from the Internet" What can i do? Any help?

We recently went from the trial version to the S version and we have a couple of questions.
1. viewing the chart it looks like we took a hit on response time between 12:45 and 12:50 Mountain Daylight Time in the U.S. But, we did not get a notice even though the response time went to 20k ms. We have it set for 1k ms.
2. Does this just ping the server? Will it cause any hits on our google analytics?
3. Are there any options to monitor more functions such as page load time, 404 errors, etc?

Would it be possible to add a feature to email a table format of daily/weekly/monthly incidents.
This would be very helpful.

Format: Example:

weird intermittant problem

Hi , 
I've got strange errors in anturis from last Friday, but when I check my servers, everything seems to be ok. 
It send me a disk error in continious and a small error each 30min on apache. for just a few minutes. 

Is their a probleme with anturis this days ?
