Windows service monitoring is unavailable at that time. Please, ensure that Powershell is installed.

I have two servers running on an ESXi 4.1 host. Neither can monitor Windows Services with the error: Windows service monitoring is unavailable at that time. Please, ensure that Powershell is installed. Agent error info: General plugin failure


Running Windows 2008 R2 SP1, Powershell is installed, Agent version 2.9.0.11030. Any help would be appreciated.

The issue may be caused by the outdated version of PowerShell. Anturis requires version 3.0 or later. So please, install the latest version and reinstall or rebuild the component :
