email confirmation in html

I setup a second person to receive email notification (not in html) but the email confirmation is in html. How do we disable email confirmation being sent in html?

Email confirmation always come in html but alerts will arrive in plain text if 'use html' options wasn't activated.

The email is too long and don't receive the rest of the email on my phone.

Is there another way to confirm my email address like if it sent a confirmation number instead of a link?
